Hi! I’m Lizzie of Lizzie’s Bakery. I’m a wife, mom to two boys, and lover of all things sweet. I’m known for throwing dessert parties for everyone in the neighborhood to cultivate a sense of community. I love the creative freedom of being able to make something delicious from scratch, while at the same time putting a big smile on someone else’s face. To me, the key to happiness is celebrating the big and small moments in life.

There’s nothing that brings me more joy than creating a cake so beautiful you’ll hesitate to cut into it, but delicious enough to have folks running from the dance floor.

Hi, I’m Lizzie

When one door closes, another one opens. In early 2016, I started baking as a hobby, but things quickly changed when I was suddenly laid off from my job in marketing. I was scared, anxious, and unsure of what was next for my husband and me.

Never being one to sit back and wait to see what would come my way, I decided to take control of my life. I had been baking as a hobby and that’s when it hit me that I should start selling my cakes, and Lizzie’s bakery was born!

I am a one-woman show, which means I am here with you from the first call to your big day. Whether you’ve had a hidden wedding Pinterest board or you need a last-minute dessert bar for a birthday party, I will walk you through what is sure to be the most fun and yummiest part of planning your celebration.
